Micron has already spent over $10 million for land for Clay chip plant: Micron Technology has spent more than $10 million for land in the town of Clay for its planned chipmaking complex. But in an unusual transaction, Micron won’t own the last 21 acres of private land and its latest payment of just over $3 million will go to the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency.
